SED Electromagnetic tooth clutch
EIDE’s SED electromagnetic tooth clutch provides high torque transmission for its size and includes a self-centred armature coil with bearings. Its structure does not allow any sliding, making it necessary to select the appropriate safety margin. The connection must be made when it is stopped, there is no movement or running at low speed. The clutch can be disengaged at any time.
EM tooth clutches can provide up to three times more torque than a friction clutch for the same outside diameter. EIDE’s electromagnetic tooth clutches provide competitive advantages for the key markets where there is small space, such as robitic, automation, packaging, printing and medical markets.
Ring gear transmission without slip rings.
